Lumenpulse Founder Finalist for Entrepreneurial Award

François-Xavier Souvay, founder, president, and CEO of Lumenpulse, has been named one of three Quebec finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 award program in the manufacturing category. Now in its 18th year, the program honors Canadian business leaders. The winners will be announced this fall. More

Teichert Joins Lumenpulse

Gorm Teichert has joined Montreal-based architectural LED-based lighting solutions company Lumenpulse, as executive vice president of international sales. Teichert has been working in the architectural and entertainment lighting fields for more than 20 years. His previous posts include time with several prominent lighting companies including Lighting Science Group, Martin Professional, and Erco Lighting. Teichert's appointment follows the recent announcement of LED expert Bill Simms joining Lumenpulse's Board of Directors. More

Are We There Yet?

Travelers arriving at the montreal-pierre elliott trudeau international Airport in Canada will now be guided down the arrival corridors by You Are Almost There!, a permanent lighting installation by Montreal-based conceptual artist and lighting designer Axel Morgenthaler. Designed to depict passengers in transit, the installation is part of local airport authority Aéroports de Montréal's identity program, created to infuse Montreal's character into its airports, and support the city's artistic and cultural development. More
