The Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder has announced the establishment of the Rocky Mountain Lighting Academy (RMLA). The Academy will provide continuing education programs to professionals working in the lighting industry, and is an extension of the lighting program within Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado. Revenue generated by the RMLA programs will provide continuing financial support for the undergraduate lighting program.

The RMLA’s first program will take place June 18-21, 2013 on the CU-Boulder campus. The four-day course will offer a theoretical background in lighting with courses designed and taught by leading lighting educators and professionals including David DiLaura.
