InformeDesign has released a new issue of its monthly newsletter, Implications. The current issue focuses on daylighting, and is authored by Dr. Michael Kroelinger, director of and professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Each issue of Implications explores one major subject in relation to design and human behavior to provide designers with research-based knowledge. The current issue provides recommendations for designers to consider in the use of daylighting and lighting in interior spaces to 'improve the human experience' and energy efficiency. The newsletter also provides guidelines for using daylighting in varying climates, design criteria and strategies to consider for daylighting in all interior environments, and a list of published books and Research Summaries available on InformeDesign related to daylighting and lighting.
