Douglas W. Hagen, B-K Lighting CEO and founder, has announced that Nathan Sloan has been appointed the new president of both B-K Lighting and Teka Illumination. Sloan steps into the position held by Ron Naus, who suddenly passed away on May 31.

Sloan has been with B-K Lighting since 1995 and has held a variety of positions from assembly to general management. Prior to this promotion, he was serving as manufacturing manager for Teka Illumination. A graduate of California State University, Fresno his degree in business management and his understanding of the manufacturing processes has served the companies well as they continue to grow and innovate. “I am excited to bring my experience and knowledge in manufacturing to a new level at B-K Lighting and Teka Illumination as company President,” said Sloan. “Surrounded by a team dedicated to innovation, I will continue our legacy as we move forward.”
