Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design (HLB) has announced the promotion of three of its senior level staff. Carrie Hawley, who oversaw the opening of the firm’s Boston design studio in 2007, and continues to serve as practice leader, has been promoted from associate principal to senior principal. Hawley first joined HLB in 1995 and was based in the New York office prior to her move to Boston.
Tina Aghassian, who joined the Los Angeles studio in 1997, has been promoted from associate principal to principal. During her tenure, she has worked on a number of high-profile projects including the recently completed first phase of the Los Angeles International Airport Central Terminal Area Curbside Appeal Project.
Lee E. Brandt, who serves as the New York office’s studio leader, joined the firm in 2000. She has been promoted from associate principal to principal. Her work has focused on the firm’s sustainable design integration practices. She recently presented at Greenbuild as part of the lighting design panel for the session titled, “The Lighting Insider’s Look at LEED V4.”
