The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) will present LEDucation9, its annual solid-state lighting expo and seminar series, March 5 -6 in New York City at the Sheraton NY Times Square Hotel. This year’s tabletop exhibits will include the latest LED technology showcasing more than 200 manufacturers.
In addition to the exhibits, a line-up of 17 seminars, spanning the two-day show, covers the range of issues lighting designers, architects, and interior designers along with lighting manufacturers face as the industry navigates the incorporation of this lighting technology into the market place. Topics include LED and lighting controls, LED light quality, and design issues when integrating LED lighting systems.
New expo features for this year include an interactive area called “Mission Control” where attendees can obtain information about the latest developments in LED lighting controls. Attendees can also sign up for docent led tours of the show floor and guides will be available to answer various technology questions.
Full details regarding registration and the overall schedule can be found at the event’s website.
