Architectural Lighting (AL), the leading voice of the architectural lighting design community is the recipient of a 2015 Jesse H. Neal Award for Best Media Brand - Overall Editorial Excellence – (Class: Brand Revenue Less than $3,000,000).
The Neal Awards, produced by American Business Media (ABM), are business journalism’s most prestigious editorial honors. Named after Jesse H. Neal, the first managing director of ABM, the Neal Awards were established in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business media. With 22 categories that reflect the entire multi-platform suite of products used by B-to-B editors today, the Neal Awards represent the changing face of business media. Most entries are submitted in one of three classifications, based upon the publication's gross advertising and circulation revenue.
In recognizing Architectural Lighting with the distinction of Best Brand, the Neal Awards jury commented, “Architectural Lighting offers consistent quality of content and presentation across every platform, creating a brand presence and image of superiority, taste, and intellect.”

Architectural Lighting was also a finalist in the newsletter category for AL Notes, its twice-monthly newsletter, which enables the brand to communicate with its audience on a steady basis and serves as a complement to the print issue and website.
