USAI Lighting, has opened a 3,200-square-foot “pop-up” space in Soho in New York City. Called the “USAI Lighting Collaboratory,” the location will allow design professional of all disciplines the ability to see and experience the company’s latest luminaire and lighting programming offerings through a series of interactive displays. This introduction to the company’s approach to personalized lighting will also allow visitors to assemble their own custom information kits. “We wanted to create a place that had the feeling of a children’s museum for light, but geared toward adults,” says Bonnie Littman, president of USAI Lighting. Located at 13 Crosby Street, the event space, which will be open through the end of 2015, will also serve as a place for design industry activities such as CEU courses and panel discussions. For schedule information or to book a tour, interested parties are asked to email inquiries to: info@usailighting.com.
