Lightfair International (LFI) has announced a call for speakers for its 2007 conference in New York. Submissions, which must be entered online at LFI's website, are due by September 15, 2006.

Industry professionals with an in-depth knowledge of lighting-related topics, applications, software, case studies, and business advice are encouraged to apply. If selected, participants will conduct either a three-hour Daylighting Institute workshop, a three-hour Lightfair Institute workshop, a 90-minute seminar, or a course of their choice. A complete list of topics can be found on the LFI website. Presentations may not be sales-related or make use of corporate logos or slides.

Speakers will receive an honorarium, a full conference pass, and one complimentary night at a hotel. LFI 2007 will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from May 6-10, 2006.
