Light City Baltimore is a new lighting festival launching this spring. It will take place March 28 – April 3 around Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Activities begin each evening at 7:00 p.m. A 1.5 mile BGE Light Art walk will showcase more than 50 illuminated experiences, art installations, and musical and street theater performances.

In addition to the festival there is also the LightCityU Innovation Conference. More than 140 speakers will engage on topics addressing health, social, creative, and sustainable innovations. Full details are available at: lightcity.org/lcu

On Sat. Apr. 2, the IALD’s Washington, D.C., chapter will host an event and have three of the artists participating in Light City Baltimore present their work. For details, email IALD Washington D.C. Co-Coordinator Coffield King, Associate IALD, at king@gilmorelight.com.
