Lighting design firm Grenald Waldron Associates (GWA) has opened a second office in China to serve its growing Chinese and Far East project base. Located in Shanghai, near the Bund on Sichuan Middle Road, the office will provide full lighting planning and design services for architecture, interiors, and public works projects, and will be headed by Kevin Huang who has more than 10 years experience working on lighting design projects in China and the Far East. Current projects include the design of Bund 27 - House of the Roosevelt, and the Sanzhi Sheraton Hotel, both in Shanghai; and the Banyan Tree Beijing Hotel, Beijing.

GWA opened its first office in China in 2007, in Beijing, and the staff of eight individuals is led by Ma Ye, director and principal lighting designer. GWA's home office is located in Narberth, Pa., outside Philadelphia, and was originally founded by Raymond Grenald in 1968. Lee Waldron joined the office in 1976 and the firm evolved its name to GWA in 1994. Further information about the firm and its international project portfolio can be found at
