The New York City Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society has announced the Call for Entries for its 2017 Lumen Awards program. The deadline has been extended to Jan. 23, 2017.

The Lumen Awards are open to any interior or exterior architectural lighting design project completed within two years’ time of the submission deadline. Anyone can enter a project for consideration, but wherever possible, the IESNYC requires that the lighting designer responsible for the lighting scheme is credited. Eligible projects must be designed by a New York City-based designer for a project located anywhere in the world, or the project must be located in New York City, regardless of the location of the designer.
New for 2017, entrants may submit a project summary of up to 400 words as well as up to 12 high-res images. All questions should be address via email the Lumen Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
